Trypanosomosis Baseline Survey


For the trypanosomosis baseline survey it was decided to sample about 5% of the cattle in the area, which from the Regional Bureau of Agriculture statistics was estimated at about 9,000 head. The project area includes many different peoples, altitudes and levels of tsetse challenge, and it was therefore decided to use a stratified, random sampling frame.
